Cancellation Policy

As part of our policy of transparency, we clearly outline our position to ensure there is no misunderstanding if you decide to cancel your enrolment.

To attract international, interstate or local presenters, we require a degree of certainty around course numbers so we can arrange presenters’ flights, accommodation, course venues and catering — often with several months of lead time. Once a course is confirmed, Fascial Manipulation Australia takes on a number of financial responsibilities to venue owners, catering staff and presenters. Our cancellation policy exists to provide security to all parties in a fair manner. If you are booking air travel or accommodation, we recommend arranging travel insurance in case a course is cancelled.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. You have paid for a course with a scheduled attendance date. Once you have attended any part of the course, you are not eligible for any refund.
  2. If you need to cancel your attendance, it is no doubt for an important reason, and we are sorry you aren’t able to attend to advance your clinical skills at this time.
  3. In order to provide courses around Australia, we require a degree of certainty around course numbers to arrange presenters’ flights, course venues and accommodation — all with several months of lead time and pre-payments.

Non-Refundable Deposit

Some courses require a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances if you cancel, regardless of how far in advance you notify us, and it applies in addition to the standard administration charge and refund terms below. The deposit will only be refunded in the event that the specific course you booked is cancelled by Fascial Manipulation Australia.

Cancellation by you

This applies to all course cancellations or transfers, including those due to medical, personal or family reasons.

  1. Although we will attempt to accommodate any changes, there is no guarantee. All changes incur our standard administration charge (SAC).
  2. An applicant who wishes to withdraw from a course must do so in writing.
  3. If you cancel your booking more than 4 weeks before the course date, your refund will be the course fee minus the SAC of $79.
  4. If you cancel your booking more than 2 weeks before the course date, your refund will be 50% of the course fee minus the SAC of $79.
  5. No refund is available less than two weeks before the course date, or for non-attendance.
  6. Where a course carries a non-refundable deposit, that deposit is retained in all of the above scenarios and is not included in any refund.

Cancellation by us

  1. We will endeavour to run all advertised courses. If circumstances force us to cancel an event, you will receive a refund equal to the course fee (minus payment transaction fees), or a credit to transfer towards another course on another date — whichever you prefer. Any non-refundable deposit is fully refunded in this case.
  2. We aim to provide a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
  3. We are not held liable for any additional expenses you incur through cancelling the event, e.g. travel expenses and accommodation.

All cancellations must be made in writing, briefly explaining the reason. A one-time deferral to a future course may be requested, subject to written notice via email being received more than four weeks prior to the course commencement date.
